An X-ray (radiograph) uses a small dose of radiation to take pictures of bones and other internal tissues, like lungs and bowel.
The images show different parts of your body in shades of black and white.
We provide services to anyone needing an X-ray.
You may need to remove metal objects, such as jewellery, watches, keys, and coins, as they can show up on an X-ray.
If you are, or think you might be, pregnant, please tell your doctor and radiographer. X-rays can be harmful to an unborn baby, so an alternative test may need to be done.
