Who we care for

We provide residential care for people aged 65 years and over living with a mental health condition and requiring specialised support not available in a general aged care or community setting.

What you can expect

Steele Haughton is a specialised aged care community with:

  • 20 residential beds: long-term residential care for people needing mental health support
  • 10 acute beds: short-term treatment and care for people who are eligible for the specialised services provided

Mental health needs in later life are shaped by unique experiences, transitions, and health conditions. Our team provides respectful, trauma-informed care that supports older adults to live meaningful and connected lives.

We work in partnership with individuals, families, and carers to ensure care is tailored, inclusive, and empowering.
