Pathology Service Locations

Inpatients: 

• The hospital will conduct tests as required

Outpatients and general public:

• Address: 104 Drummond Street North, Ballarat, across from St John of God Hospital
• Times: Monday to Friday; 7.00am to 5.30pm. Saturday; 8.30am to 12.00pm. Sunday; Closed
  • No appointment necessary, however a short waiting time can apply if the centre is busy.
• Contact: 

GP referral:

• For all outpatient pathology services, a GP referral is required.

Fees:

• Most pathology services are eligible for a Medicare rebate if they are listed on the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) and meet specific clinical or personal criteria; however, services not included in the MBS or that don't meet eligibility requirements will not receive a rebate, and patients will need to cover the full cost.
  Patients can seek advice at Collection Centres about rebate eligibility and potential charges.

Fees:

• Pathology services at Graceland Medical Clinic are bulk-billed for existing patients. 
  New patients are also welcome; however a $10 appointment fee applies.
