The service works in partnership with infants, children, families and caregivers to foster resilience, connection, and hope. Infants. children and young people aged 0-14yrs can be referred in the Infant Child Mental Health Service (ICMHS).
This service is available to eligible people across the Grampians region.
We provide mental health assessments and referrals to in-hospital (inpatient) and community based (outpatient) services as well as ongoing support and care.
Care can include therapeutic treatments, parent groups, and education. We will also collaborate with schools and other support involved in your child's care.
This program provides Autism assessments for children aged 2 to 18 years. Our specialised team includes a speech pathologist, social worker, occupational therapist, psychologist, and psychiatrist.
The CASEA program is suitable for children from grades Prep to 2. The program promotes young children's social, emotional and behavioural development. It is an early intervention program supporting children, families, and the wider school community.
Children and those caring from them are supported by programs run at the child's school.
The child's teachers assist by completing a brief screening form.
