Coping with cancer

Our ‘Coping with cancer’ sessions provide information on improving your quality of life by boosting your confidence with exercise, improving nutrition and emotional wellbeing, and managing side effects of treatment.

We offer three different 2-hour group education sessions, running over consecutive weeks.

  • Session 1 - Nutrition and movement (Presented by: Dietitian and Exercise Physiologist)
  • Session 2 - Managing stress, anxiety, worry and fear of cancer recurrence and eating well (Presented by: Clinical Psychologist and Dietitian)
  • Session 3 - Sleep and fatigue (Presented by: Occupational Therapist and Clinical Physiologist)

You can choose to attend one session or all three, based on your needs. These sessions are suitable at any stage of cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Family members, support persons and carers are welcome to attend.
