Volunteer with us

Our team of volunteers provide support and assistance to patients, clients, residents, and their families right across Grampians Health.

Volunteering is a great way to become involved and give back to the community. By joining our team of volunteers, you contribute directly to the health and wellbeing of our patients, clients and residents, and work with people in need of support.

Through volunteering you can:

  • develop valuable new skills
  • gain hands-on experience
  • connect with a diverse range of people
  • make a meaningful difference through selfless service

Flexible volunteering options are available and we offer free training, immunisation, and invitations to special events.

We value the unique knowledge, skills and experiences that each volunteer brings to their role. Our Volunteer Services Manager and Volunteer Coordinator are always happy to explore how you can contribute to Grampians Health by becoming a volunteer.

Are you our next volunteer?

We are always looking for new volunteers, with many positions available across our campuses.

Community members are encouraged to share their time, skills and life experiences through a range of volunteering roles. A typical volunteer role entails one shift per week, or fortnight, of approximately 3-4 hours duration.

Anyone can apply to be a volunteer. No previous experience in a health setting is necessary. Complete the application form or contact us to discuss your options.
