Work Experience and Structured Workplace Learning

Grampians Health is committed to providing local students the opportunity to discover careers in healthcare. This offers students hands-on experience.

About the program

We offer Work Experience and Structured Workplace Learning programs in both clinical and non-clinical settings.

Work Experience

There are four intakes of Work Experience per year – one week in each school term. Throughout the week you will explore various healthcare roles across our campuses.

You will receive support and feedback throughout your application and placement.

Intakes are dependent on campus. For information on the dates for 2025 please refer to the dates listed in the Statewide Portal

Structured Workplace Learning

Grampians Health also accepts Structured Workplace Learning students. These students will undertake positions in line with their Senior School and VET Certificate training.
